I?ve just enrolled at the online Wealthy Affiliate University website. It claims to teach new Internet Marketers how to sell effectively and earn a living through affiliate marketing online. Well since I fit the audience: newbie who hasn?t made a dime on her own ? I thought I?d see if the big fellers Kyle and Carson could teach me a thing or two.

Before I handed over my credit card I was a bit skeptical at first, but since my favorite bum marketer Travis Sago was a member, I thought it would be worth it even to just read his wisdom in the forums. Besides if the course sucked, I could always cancel my membership and get a refund.

Q. What is this 8 Week Action Plan about?

One of the first things the site gets you to do is enroll in the 8 week action plan. It?s supposed to be a step-by-step plan on how to get up and running quick smart, a unique feature to the Wealthy Affiliate University.

The first week is pretty basic. Mostly it?s just checking out the sticky posts in the forum and stuff to see what other people are up to, but by the second week things start to heat up with many tasks to complete.

One thing I wasn?t quite prepared for was the homework! Yep you have a list of tasks that you have to do each week. I thought that I?d left homework for dead when I left school, but it seems that it?s once more on my to-do-today list. Yikes! At least I might actually accomplish some goals finally.

Q. Can you do extra classes?

If you are really keen and want to get ahead then there are heaps more tutorials and guides that you can do. These one?s don?t have homework though (Phew!) and are more like mini guides on certain topics. Some of the ones that seemed interesting was ?Penny Pincher Money Techniques? and ?AdCopy Writing?, both which I really need a lot of help with.

Q. How do you get to be the teachers pet?

Since it?s all online, there are no desks to put an apple for the teacher on, so the only way you are going to get noticed is to be your friendly self and say hi on the forums. Actually that?s one of the homework assignments in the first week ? to introduce yourself to everyone at the Wealthy Affiliate University.

Q. Do you get graded?

Fortunately there are no report cards here. The only way to gauge if you are doing well is when ClickBank starts showing you the money love. Actually earning money as an affiliate is the best way to gauge your success, so my thanks goes out to the Wealthy Affiliate University crew.
